BOSS Weekend 2026
BOSS Weekend 2026: Potential in Motion
For three unforgettable days, BOSS scholars connected with opportunity, celebrated growth, and saw new futures take shape.
Why it matters: BOSS Weekend is more than an event. It is a living demonstration of the developmental infrastructure that transforms potential into educational attainment, economic mobility, and lifelong leadership.
Celebrating Excellence
At the BOSS Awards, scholars were honored for embodying the six BOSS Pillars: Economic, Emotional, Mental, Physical, Social, and Spiritual excellence.
Families and community leaders witnessed something powerful:
Growth has structure. Excellence has dimensions. Leadership has a framework.
Expanding Possibility
At the ninth annual BOSS Showcase inside the CSULB Walter Pyramid, scholars connected with more than 20 professionals from Microsoft, Tesla, AEG, HSBC, the Port of Long Beach, the Los Angeles Chargers, the Los Angeles Philharmonic, and other leading organizations.
Through career panels, mentor conversations, and a campus tour, scholars:
· Explored careers from technology and finance to medicine, law, logistics, sports, and entertainment.
· Received honest guidance from accomplished professionals.
· Built relationships that can open future doors.
· Began seeing college and career success as expected—not merely possible.
The Bigger Picture
BOSS Weekend celebrates a process that continues year-round and across multiple years.
Academic coaching. Mentoring. Accountability. Career exposure. Leadership development. High expectations. Meaningful relationships.
Together, these supports move young people from passengers to confident drivers of their own futures.
Three days. Countless conversations. Expanded possibilities. Lifelong impact.
Potential is universal. Access, opportunity, and developmental infrastructure are not. BOSS is building all three.
